One of the questions that I often get asked is, "How do you lose weight and keep it off?"
I've personally lost 45 pounds and have been able to keep it off. The way that I've done that is exactly what I teach my clients, The 5 Simple Steps To Losing Weight.
So, I used this process to lose 45 pounds and I continue to use it every single day to maintain my weight.
Step 1 is to create and follow a sleep routine.
Step 2 is to drink enough water everyday.
Step 3 is to create and follow a food plan.
Step 4 is to track everything. Write it down.
And step 5 is to coach yourself everyday.
Now, you may not know what coaching yourself means but I want to talk a little bit more about it because this is like the glue that holds all the other steps together.
So, when you're following a sleep routine, and drinking enough water, and creating and following a food plan, and tracking everything. When you're doing all of those things, emotions will start to come up. And you may be used to eating to numb those emotions. Right?
So, coaching yourself is a way to manage your emotions, manage your mind, and keep you on track with your goals.
Coaching yourself is extremely useful for weight loss and every other thing in your life. It really is. It's changed my life.
So, in this week's podcast episode on the Weight Loss Before and After Pregnancy Podcast, I go in detail on self-coaching. I teach you exactly what to do to coach yourself everyday.
So, I want to encourage you to go check out the episode. It's episode number 6, titled Losing Weight: Step 5.
